Over the past eighteen years I have looked over hundreds of client sponsorship forms. For for the majority of forms you could say, if you’ve seen one form you’ve seen them all. Everyone offers “your logo printed in the program. Your logo projected on the screen. Your logo on our website and social media sites.” This is just fine of course, but it’s just not unique. When a sponsor gives your organization or learning institution a significant sum of money for a sponsorship level they should expect a great value in return. A sponsor who teams with you for $500,000 or $250,000 or $100,000 or $50,000 or $25,000 should receive great value from their sponsorship. So, provide them greater value for the tens of thousands of dollars that they are giving to you. Sponsors should feel that they are receiving significant value for their partnership of your event. There are many ways to show sponsors gratitude for their partnership. Auction brio has worked with clients providing creative ideas to offer sponsors greater value for their money. These ideas do not require a cost to the client, but the action taken draws sponsors closer to the organization and also shows gratitude to the sponsor. What are you offering sponsors that they love or tell you that “no one else offers us anything like this.We love being a partner with you.”
